Jacquard fabrics owe their name to Joseph Marie Jacquard, an 18th century French inventor who developed a loom that made it commercially practical to weave fabrics with extremely complex patterns. In Jacquard table linens, the design is woven directly into the material, not printed onto it. Jacquard table linens have a soft, warm, luxurious "hand" and are supple enough to drape elegantly over any table. Our french Jacquard table linens are pure cotton and have a protective, teflon based treatment that helps protect them against spills and stains.
Note: If you see any table linens you like that are not currently in stock, let us know and we'll include it in our next shipment from France.
